1My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being.
1The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — whom should I dread?
3You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.
7He will not fear bad news; his heart is confident, trusting in the Lord. 8His heart is assured; he will not fear. In the end he will look in triumph on his foes.
3When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
5For he will conceal me in his shelter in the day of adversity; he will hide me under the cover of his tent; he will set me high on a rock. 6Then my head will be high above my enemies around me; I will offer sacrifices in his tent with shouts of joy. I will sing and make music to the Lord.
10The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while. 11To him be dominion forever. Amen.
