¹⁴Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart be courageous.  Wait for the Lord.

²⁸Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,  the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding. ²⁹He gives strength to the faint and strengthens the powerless.

¹⁰Do not fear, for I am with you;  do not be afraid, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.

⁴For you have been a stronghold for the poor person, a stronghold for the needy  in his distress, a refuge from storms and a shade from heat.  When the breath of the violent is like a storm against a wall,

³because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. ⁴And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

³⁵So don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. ³⁶For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised.
